Alcohol and Drugs (Just by the title, it doesn't sound appealing.)

Drugs and alcohol have been a huge factor within our society. Sadly for some, it has entered our home lives as well as our schools. In some cases, drugs and alcohol are consumed within the teen community due to the pressure of our peers. I hear all the time from destructive teens in my school that being stoned or drunk is the best feeling in the world. It gets rid of any thoughts or feelings you may have and puts you in a different place.

My theory is, why would anyone want to give up the freedom of thinking for him or herself? Why would anyone want to hurt him or herself rather than try to fix the problems that they have? Drug and alcohol users act as if they don't know the consequences of their actions but they do. Are people really that desperate for a way out or are they desperate for a way in? To me, drinking and drugs aren't cool at all. People look stupid talking about it and especially doing it. I've never touched anything that would harm my body and this has not stopped me from having a great time in life. Also, it has not in the very least stopped me from having great friends.

So youve never touched anything that will hurt your body? youve never had fast food, candy, soda,or used a cell phone wich can give enormous tumors,or used ipod headphones wich studies have shown to result in hearing damage in the following years.

Suck It

Eating something I agree has an enormous affect on the way we turn out to be. Food these days is crap. However, what I'm saying is, if I eat something that is horrible for me once, I won't be an addict. If I smoke something that is bad for me or become incarcerated, it is harder to get away from that scene. I'm sure so many people disagree, but at this point, I've realized that I don't really care what others think to an extent. I like controversy. But if it becomes something other than a humane debate, then I'm out.
