Recently, a friend of mine was wrongfully accused of stealing from Warwick Valley High School, when in actuality he wasn't stealing. Everyday, he has the same routine, picks out his double lunch, pays for his double lunch, and sits down and eats his double lunch. However, one day approximately a week ago, a wrongful accusation was made toward him by one person and he was sent to the principal. They had no proof whatsoever to back up the theory except for one person's false observation. So, instead of finding out all the information, they are now making him pay for his "unpaid lunches." Now, one thing that bothers me is while he was in the Principal's office, he was not allowed to make a phone call to his parents. Don't you see this whole incident as very pre French Revolution? Rather than being innocent until proven guilty, it was exactly the opposite. In my eyes, this is illegal, but what do I know. I'm just a dopey kid (so they may think MWAHAHA! Kids have more power in school than the adults because there are more of us. Why don't we use it?)

I heard about that! This kid was someone who did nothing and was friends with many people including the security and faculty. Rumor has it that he was just pulled aside and they wouldn't let him put back his food when he was short on cash. Then, when he went to the office, they extorted him and said that he either pays the fee of how much he "stole," or they will throw the maximum penalty for stealing at him. It is unbelievable and shows that there is corruption in the school system.
Yea, i heard about that kid too. he's like a junior or senior or somthing. Anyway, his parents are involved with people in high government offices. This school was stupid to mess with a kid with this much security. They are gonna get it now, if im right....
I had the same kinda thing happen to me in my 10th grade year. Medican said it was guilty until proven innocent cause I was accused of hanging up flyers for a fight, which I didn't do. But I was able to completely prove them wrong. Just to say that this is NOTHING new at all. And a message to all seniors: Don't buy into Mr. O's "I'm on your side" junk, because it's not true. Don't listen to it.
